I don't know about the fit on a Cruiser but I have had them on our trailer for about the past 3 years and no issues. Since all new trailers seem to come on junk tires now no matter how much money you spend on one our next trailer will have BFG Commercial LT'sinstalled as soon as I drive it off the lot.

Greg, have you looked at or considered Goodyear Marathons?
http://www.goodyearrvtires.com/tire-selector.aspx
I have been running a set for 2 or 3 years now. When I bought them I requested they be made here in the states, and they were.

I switched to LT tires from the nylons that came on our Paradise Pointe. Mine are an off brand called Delta Sierra. Since we don't travel alot of miles from home I didn't spend a lot of money. $400 for all four of them and they have performed outstanding. The nylons that came factory were wearing very badly. These are almost 5 years old with maybe 3 or 4 thousand miles on them and they are wearing great. When I have to replace them I will not hesitate to go to another LT tire.

Lloyd, I thought all the Goodyear Marathons in production now are made in China? I know the ones they are putting in the Redwoods are because a couple of those guys have had issues with them.

Do they say Goodyear Marathons, or just Goodyear?

Also I would check if they had a serial # or not. There are Goodyear plants in the US and Canada. All operating.

Lloyd, all the ones I have personally seen on Redwoods say Goodyear Marathon on them. Same for the ones on the Redwood forum that have blown out.

We have the BFG Commercial TA on our Cruiser. I got one dink in the pan a couple years ago from the tire I dont know how. We have quite a few miles on it and not all on the highway. It's been to Kansas Texas and over the mountain a few times, I will get the same tire when these wear out. Our trailer came with 15" tires on it,the later models came with 16's

. heres a link to my tire jouney.

Keith, I went over and talked with Dan, He owns the Goodyear store where I buy. All I know is what he states.-----------
They can be purchased from China (and they are) Some outfits will buy there and China will put any name on them you want.
He said there are many plants in the US making Goodyear, also in Canada. He said to check and see if there is a serial # on them.
Mine say "made in the USA" and the build date was about a month before I got them. So far, so good. We will see how they like the trip south.

My guess would be the RV manufactures are using the China made Marathons since people are having issues with them. We have seen them on the Redwoods, Jaycos, and Select Suites among others. It is a shame that for the money they make on these units they can't put a good tire on them. Edited by: Hunter11

I think Steve Ford (FFFord) had them on his Cruiser beforehe sold it and I don't think he had any issues with them. I will email him and see if he will respond.

Yes, I had a Cruiser Patriot, a 2010 CF31REP & replaced the "will blow out" made in china tires with the BF Goodrich Commercial T/A. I had them from July 2011 until Feb 2012, when we sold our Cruiser & bought a Rushmore. The Goodrich LT tires are a 1/2" taller & they fit just fine in the wheel wells. My DW noticed the steps were higher(1/2") & I hadn't noticed. Our B/W wheel locking chocks also still fit, they were just a little narrower. I will be putting them on the Rushmore soon.

Not trying to hijack the thread... but does anyone have any information on Nanking Tires.
My local Sears dealer says he is installing them on TT's and 5ers.
