Crossroads Cruiser 2010 with a bad gfic outlet.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

Got to our next destination and there is no 120 VAC power to the kitchen outlet or the rear of the RV. Power panel circuit breakers are not tripped and the incoming power is wired correctly.

Luckily I started with the kitchen gfic and there was 120VAC to it but nothing at the output.

Just to make sure it was not phantom, I temporarily wired up my trouble lamp and it worked well. I ohmed out the dead circuit it was not shorted.

We purchased a newGFIC Leviton 20 amp (up from the cheap15 amp) killed the power, wired it in and reactivated the RV circuit breaker. No arcs, no sparks and 120 VAC to the rear of the RV.

Happy wife= happy life.
