Most of the RV park cable I have found is the old analog TV and I get better pictures from the antenna (digital TV). If the trailer is not wired right or you are not hooked up right the antenna won't work.

My reception and channel pickup has always been good...where there is a signal. Never a problem.

Question SunsetTrail SF33RL need help finding booster switch

I have a new 2014 SF33RL with an Insignia TV. I am at a camp ground that provides cable hookup. For the life of me I can't locate the booster switch. Any one have this model camper and can tell me where to look?

It should be on the wall plate where your main living area tv plugs into. There should be a little button and when it's on there will be a small green indicator light. At least that is how my last to trailers as well as my parents are.

My cable comes in from above the TV and right into the TV. I will double check the cabinets.

All campers have bad tv reception ?!?

I would like to know the name and phone number of that doofus so I never talk to them !!!

It's more likely that all campers have a booster switch like below - may be black...

if you have cable connections and a tv antenna, then it will have a booster... never seen an rv without one.
(I'm sure there are, but none that I've seen )

if you have one tv, then it's by it, if 2 it's typically by the bedroom... (MAY be behind it)

push in for antenna, push again (off) for cable !

I found the booster switch. My TV pivots to the outside. The switch is in the upper right of the frame above the TV.

I have an app, TV TOWER USA, on my iphone that shows were all the tv towers are at in your area. This helps a lot when you go to scan for stations, lets you know where to point the antenna before your scan. I think the app is free.

Thanks the antenna I have is fixed. I can not rotate it. Cross roads considers it omni directional. I finally found the booster switch so I can get cable if the campground has cable.
