A lot depends on what else you are using. You can't exceed 30 or 50A depending on your service for everything that is turned on. I have the 30A service and I run a 1500W heater but can't run coffee pot or hair dryer at the same time. You could also run two 750Watt heaters but the same limitations apply. Generally the only thing I run overnight is the heater and water heater and haven't had any issues.

I run a 1500 watt heater and leave the furnace on at a lower value if the electric can't keep up. But if the wife starts coffee in the morning before turning off the electric heater she pops the breaker.
I have considered adding an electric fireplace with blower in the small cabinet space under the TV and pulling power from a separate 20 amp source.

I haven't done it but read where you can use a heavy gauge extension cord run thru slide seal to one of the 15 amp receptacles in pedestal. They usually have there own breaker and does not effect your 30 amps to camper.

I have done in the past what Tim suggests. Just run an extension cord from the 20 amp receptacle on the power pedestal through one of the slide seals to power your heater. No impact to any of the other electrical draws in the trailer.

Exactly what I did. Put a outlet with the the upper powered by 30 amp in the RV ( when not using heat) and the lower split to a plug to go into the 20 amp on the post for heat.
