Just washed and waxed our rig

Wouldn't you know it...I just finish washing and waxing our rv and here in So Cal, where we are in a serious drought without rain for what seem like 2 years, it's raining! Go figure.

No rain dances needed here, just a good can of wax.

I guess the good news is that it cleans up easy now. Off to the beach, camping on Weds. No more rain in the forecast after these west coast hurricane remnants, work their way thru.

Looking good. Just remember the quickest way to drum up some rain is to wash/wax the truck or trailer.

Now down at the beach. Man, the ants are crazy our last two trips. Now putting some pancake syrup with a couple of drops of Dawn detergent on plates around the camp perimeter.
Much better.
If man only worked as hard as these guys, can you imagine? No unemployment, no welfare, no social spiffs!
Okay, okay, got to enjoy the view.

I'm a firm believer that the last two living things that will be left on this earth will be coyotes and ants.

Enjoy your outing. Sounds like you at least got a handle on them for the time being.

Naw, the roaches will eat the remains of the ants and coyotes.

Well, we just got back from the beach and guess what! Ants, ants, and more ants! We carry a can of raid and that helped a bit outside but really only slowed them down.

By day two, my wife was going crazy. Ants had taken over the trailer, up and down the wall, in the cabinets, drawers, you name it.

I went down to Ace Hardware and picked up this liquid product. It gives you little pads to put down these drops of liquid in the major paths the ants travel. We had our g/kids with us so we needed to use caution with any poison.

After laying out this stuff, we later went to bed. My wife had earlier used Windex to kill the ones she could but it wasn't going to solve the problem.

In the morning, not a trace of any ants. After sucking up some of this and heading back to their home, the trailer was virtually free of ants.

I'm keeping the rest of this bottle in the trailer for future issues. It was amazing stuff.

Bob, that stuff works good for ants that like sweet stuff.
If you have carpenter ants, this is the product I use.

Thanks Lloyd,
Out west here we see mostly small black ants and the larger red ants. Lots and lots of them.

I'm jumping on a plane tomorrow morning to central Minnesota where I can play with some of them carpenter ants too! Just not in my trailer.
