2013 29ss tv install

Any tips on how to install a 32" tv in my bunk room? It seems to have a aluminum wall stud right in the middle of the area above the dresser I could mount to?

Specifically what 29 ss do you have? I'm going to look it up and give you some ideas. Now do you really need a 32" in the bunk room. I have a Sunset Trail 32BH and my kids love the 19" in their wall unit. It's a Toshiba LED with a DVD player built in. But they also don't watch too much TV in there.

Finished

Finished the tv install. Decided to mount plywood between the two wall studs and countersink the self tapping metal screws I used. Then I simply mounted a locking bracket style tv mount. It's super sturdy and works great. This way I hooked into two different studs!

That looks really good - How did you find the studs? Just a studfinder?

Good job! Hitting two studs is definitely the way to go!
