OK, here is my opinion/observations with all generators in that category. They are a handy, useful generator for many needs. However, perhaps not for RV'ing.
Here is why:
The db (noise) rating on most of that style genny is anywhere from mid 60's to high 70's. See chart for comparison.
The honda and similar quite run gennys are in the 50's depending on load.
If you want a lot of irritated people in the RV park, fire up one of the non-quiet run generators.
Also, make sure the generator you pick has "clean" power output. Most of the less expensive, some call construction style generators is the power the produce is not good for any electronics. That would include the AC, Microwave, TV, Radio, and even the fridge depending on if it has a circuit board.
Hondas and Others have line conditioners to clean up the power, remove the fluctuations and provide safer conditions.
So in summary. If you want to have power to charge a battery or use in an emergency only, in an isolated area. That generator would be fine. Otherwise I would look for a quiet run generator.
