I think we will skip it this time. We had a ball this spring but I'm worried about the little one missing too much school. Maybe next year. Have fun, see everyone in October!

Just had the maiden voyage this weekend. Sad to say, we have a laundry list of issues. The worst are a slide out that is off track (and had to fix a loose connection on that slide out) and a microwave that runs but doesn't cook. The slide out is currently stuck half open. There are almost a dozen other minor items needing work too (in addition to several things fixed during pdi). Not happy but we will see how I feel after talking to the dealership tomorrow.

The microwave is an easy fix, old one out new one in. I am sure all the other problems will be fixed as well includeing the slide. Is it a Schwintek??? Also curious if you found out why the TV sits so low, one ton right?? Forgot what the other thread you were on addressing that issue. (sign of old age) Any how GOOD LUCK with the fix it list. I just got my last warranty issue fixed at the factory rally. I am 3/4 the way through my warranty. My point is, sometimes it takes a while.

Tommy- Don't think it's a schwintek. Actually, nobody on rv.net or forest river has been able to definitively id the type of slide we have (dealership didn't know at pdi either). It has a motor and gear system (no chains) in the master under the bed. I know it will take some time and am staying as positive as I can hoping for good service once I contact the dealership today. They were pretty responsive fixing several issues during pdi but then again, I held the check until I was happy that day.

As for the squat, when I actually measured and weighed everything out it really wasn't as bad as everyone thought. I had 1/4" rise in front and 2 1/2" drop in rear. I was well within all my specs with a loaded trailer. Just have some back and forth chucking going down the road. Handles really well otherwise.

But anyways don't want to sidetrack your thread already.

Thanks. Yeah, I know, the responses ranged from helpful to WAG. I weeded through the good and bad. Got some of the help I needed. Fyi the odd slide is a power gear slide. Now to get it to the dealership.

Yo Yo Y'all, picking up a 28rl on Wed. Will be putting it in a seasonal site on the Jersy shore for a long long time!
Live not to far from Lebonon and may swing by for a lunch or dinner or both. Seems like a nice crowd to hang with and pick up some useful info.
Hoping to see ya there, I will be the one w/o a camper.....lol
