Hi,

Vicki and I have taken the liberty of gettingsite 157 at The Koa for the rally. We were at the first NE Rally and just have not been in the area at the right time since. We should arrive early Thursday afternoon and look forward to meeting everyone.

Please let us know what to expect for meals so that we can bring whatever is needed.

Cigar Mike

Mike - welcome aboard! Now you can see my genny set-up in person.

The meal plan is pretty simple...bring whatever you want to contribute. We do breakfast together each morning. Since it looks like we'll all be there Thursday, that means 3 breakfasts. Then, we also collaborate on dinners, too. Again, just bring whatever you want to contribute. We have never run out of food. One time someone put a bag of fresh-made pork rinds on the table to share (wonder who that was??). They made better fire starters than food. So, even the awful stuff gets used.

We also might collaborate on a happy hour or two. Hmmm, seems like the weekend theme revolves around eating...

Just got new brakes on the truck, though. First time ever - at 166,000 miles

The time is getting close...besides the breakfasts and potucks..we will visit the Harper Ferry Nat'l Park, hit the race track in Charlestown and probably do some gambling...all sounds good to me....what else is on everyones agenda? Looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up on all the news, seeing all the toys...no fishing stories allowed....lol...since the govenor of WV has banned campfires...we will be bringing a propane one....maybe that will work...

Well, I will now have to unload the cord of wood in the bed of the truck [pant, pant].

Our contribuion to the dinners are: Ham.....meat loaf.....pork loin.

Homemade breakfast pastries.

Our plans are in abeyance, depending on weather, etc.

I've got a 12pk of Killan's Irish Red cold and waiting for everyone to enjoy...it must be the Offical Beer of the Mason- Dixon Bunch.....if not, it at least needs to be a dark beer...produced in the good ole USA....no imports allowed......do we need an official bourbob or whiskey also?...sounds good to me...I think Virginia Gentleman would be fine....lol...we will be heading out around 9am Thursday...should be there between 1 and 2 pm.....at the latest....can hardly wait to see everyone again and meet Cigar Mike!

How about Maker's Mark or Heaven Hill? Yuengling Black & Tan might work for the beer. Of course, there are some really good micro brews around now too. It's getting hard to tell what's made in USA anymore.

I should be out of here by 4:30 PM on Thursday which would get me there around 7 PM...just before dark.
