Our New Trailer has Arrived

Our new trailer finally arrived at the dealer.... Took 7 weeks to build and 4 weeks before it was delivered... Did the PDI this morning and a few minor issues (windows hard to open and divider panel in pass-thru not fastened) and 1 major issue (front bedroom slide won't open ). Hoping to pick up on Friday and start a week vacation to break it in. Hopefully there won't be any issues that I can't handle. The only disappointing thing was that they changed the window size in the kitchen slide. The original 2014 we saw at the dealer had a 36"W X 21" H now the new ones come with a 25" X 16". The wife was not happy... That's what sold her on this model.

I would have imagined that it did work at the factory in order for them to have closed it for shipping. Not sure if the control board went bad. It did have power to the switch and coming out but not to the motor. Keeping my fingers crossed for sure. Does anyone know if there is a manual over-ride to putting the slides in and out? At least it does not have the Schwintek system on the main slides. Not sure about the nose slide.

Well we picked up our trailer on Friday and returned back to the campground to reload and begin our vacation. After 6 days I'm happy to report that we had no major issues . Of course there were some issues that should have never left the factory... outside door light won't turn on unless the inside kitchen lights are on and outside stove top burner tube not connect and melted the knob and decal and water leak from shower door . Then there are the silly things like the rear stabilizer jack switch is located in the front pass thru (you have to lay on the ground to watch the jacks go up and down) and the grill hose too short. Other than that I am very happy with the trailer and looking forward to finishing the vacation and can't wait until the next trip at the end of the month .

Purchased our 32RL in May, 2014. Now front slide won't open and was curious what ended up being the problem with yours, strodder2?

Jerry6583, If my memory serves me right they said that a wire fell off at the motor. It was fixed before I picked it up 2 days later. I would start by checking to see if you have power at the wall switch. Sorry I can't be more help. I would call the dealer right away. You should still be under warranty.

I am sorry, I you ordered a camper with a certain window size, that is the one you should get... Just saying. And for the slide out not working, That is totally unacceptable in my book. That's just a very bad service from Crossroads. Everything should work properly. No excuse for that. Just my opinion.....
