awning repair

Hi, I was just washing the awning on my cruiser and i noticed 3 little pin holes in the vinyl. Is there a liquid patch that's good without using a fabric patch? Thanks

Different than white duct tape? My awning is pealing around the exposed area when rolled up due to some hail damage. I patched a 6" x 12" area with white duct and it's holding well. Now a new bigger area is pealing and before I pull it 4 hours at 60 mph. I thought I'd better get it patched too. What's the difference in the tape?

Awning tape is clear so you don't see it. Honestly when ours tore it had popped out of the track too (it flipped over the tt in the wind), so the dealership fixed the whole thing for us surprisingly cheap ($63). We had already bought a roll of the tape because we were attempting to repair ourselves, just couldn't figure out how to get it in the track. Anyways, I believe, this tape is designed for fabric use and it's advantage is being clear. Not sure if it really has any other true advantage.

We replace them, but there is a repair kit available for them through your RV dealer. clear patch and also a liquid elec. tape would work or a pool patch
