4500 is plenty, that is what I put on my Zinger. Check out this website I have purchased several things from them including my electric jack. They have some pretty good deals. I got an ultra Fad 4500 for $125.00 at the beginning of summer and it has been just great. I couldn't imagine not having one now.

I just Purchased
Stromberg Carlson JET-3700 Electric Tongue Jack for mine on EBay and I should have it tomorrow. I will have it on Friday. It is 3500 lbs. From all the youtube videos I watched looks simple. Started out looking at them and a local dealer had a used one in his shop He wanted $125.00 for it but some one cut the wires and he said the light was real dimm. I statred searching and found this deal. Most prices are $220 or more. Thought this was a better buy. I did send the guy a message first because his add didn't match the dicription and he said he has both colors just add to the memo when ordering. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171474753911...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It was easy, don't know why we waited over a year to do it. We hooked to truck to take weight off the Jack. Switched the Jack out and voila done. Only thing is pay attention to diameter, the ultra fab we had was narrower than our manual jack so we had to fashion a bit of a wedge to decrease movement when camped.

After I purchased this one the local dealer lowered the price to 100 bucks to get rid of it. He puts them on all of his campers and loves them. Anyone want a cheap one it is in Brockway PA at Stars campers. It does take its toll hand cranking them. I am lucky I can do it but not my wife if I was busy with other things, But now time to get her to work when installed LOL.

Came in from UPS today and guess what??? It is broken. The light works fine but all locked up. UPS I think used it as a football it is all broken up. Contacted the seller and he seems to be working on it. Good thing I am not in a hurry.

The Company has UPS coming to my house for pickup of the old broken one and he has already shipped the new one. It should be here Tuesday. This guy has been great to me. He has reponded super fast to all questions and with out any problems. I think they are a super price for that unit. I am seeing them for around 220 or above.

Good job John!
Glad you had such a positive experience with Ebay.
Now you just have to get your tools picked up.

Looks great! Thanks for pics and info John!!

Love Ebay, Amazon, and Craigslist! Online shopping/selling is the best most of the time.

Funny - I actually sold my old hitch on Craigslist for $250 in a couple days. Next day, saw same setup on sale at CW for $235. Felt sorta bad, but hey - he still got a decent deal!
