Wehave a new 2011 Cruiser CTX 26RKX. Can anyone tell me what the blue 'taps' are in in the black flush and city water hookup area? When the RV 'technician' walked us through our new 5th wheel he just brushed it off saying he hadn't seen those before.(It turned out I knew more about our new rig than he did) See attached photo.
Thanks;

These are low point drains, when draining all the water from your water lines.

Usually the blue knobs are for winterizing the unit. Ours has low water drain knobs in the utility area but they are white. If you have low point drain valves outside the hookup area then those are probably for winterizing.

Low point drains, or hotwater tank bypass.

Agreed, either HWH by-pass (is it behind there?) or low point drains for your hot/cold lines.

The blue knobs are the low point drains.
The hot water bypass is in the kitchen cabinet near the sink.

Those are the low point drains. QQ - What is the hot water bypass use for?

HWH by-pass is for winterization. The by-pass closes the loop so you don't fill your tank with pink anti-freeze.

Again, I agree with Stan. Turn them to the left & 1 will drain the cold water, & the other will hot water lines. My hotwater bypass is white, & is also located near the kitchen sink area, close to the w/h. The bypass is used to winterize your RV during the freezing season, & bypasses the the w/h, & you would also open another valve, topump the RV anitfreeze into the water system. Youalso need to drain the w/h, after you open the bypass. Edited by: FFFord

Aso, don't forget you should have a drain line for the fresh water holdng tank besides the two blue tabs. It should be hanging down under the unit near the back.

Guess they changed them since we bought our unit. Our bypass valves are blue and the low point drains are white and they are all in the utility hookup compartment.
