I have a 08 mk-33 with a Onan 4000 gen. The problem is while using the gen at night the exhaust is entering our top bedroom slide setting off the C-02 detecter.
I tried extending the pipe away from the slide by usingaplastic hose with the wire ran through it.
It worked well until the heat melted holes it.
I have looked around and found one at CW. It ran the pipe up and over the roof. It appeard to be difficult to install / uninstall. The price was a issue as well.
I / We camp in places w/o hookups, so running the genny is required.
I visualized just putting on a pipe extender, so I could remove it easily.
So any ideas on extending my exhaust pipe will be very much appreciated.

thank you
steven rees

Hmmm, might need to contact company to see what exhaust options they have or kits that might be available.

Ditto. Sticking with factory made and engineered parts would be a wise move.

Those fumes can be lethal.
