Televisions

Just wondering if possible: We have a Jensen AWM965 stereo with a Toshiba 32C120U tv in our ST26BH. I'm trying to get the tv sound to come out the two overhead speakers instead of the tv and can't figure out a way to do this. Anyone have any suggestions if this is possible?

I did this in my unit. The stereo has an RCA audio out put (red and white) run to the TV's auxiliary audio input to carry DVD movie sound. However this is not needed because the DVD sound also comes through the stereo speakers.

I moved these wires from the stereo's output to one of the stereo's auxiliary inputs. I then connected the other end to the TV's Audio output. Turn the TV on. Turn the stereo on and select "Aux"on the front. Adjust the volume on the stereo.

Hope this helps.

Thanks John. I'll try this when the snow stops. Right now we have about 6" of new on the ground and am getting anxious to start the season.

If you don't get any sound when you connect the TV to the stereo input, then you may have the same problem I had (appears to be common). The auxiliary input cables were not plugged into the Jensen. I had to unscrew the mounting screws for the stereo, pull it out and plug the cables into the input sockets.

If it's far away you could also TV AUX Out > Bluetooth transmitter >>\>> Bluetooth receiver > Stereo aux in.

I have a bluetooth receiver plugged in to use a phone for music.
