Overnighting with slides open but hooked up?

in another thread of mine people commented on overnight stays and needing to open the slides. This made me think with my old TT the slide was not deep so we could walk through without opening the slide. We would stop at a Walmart and not unhook.
Is it safe to open the slides without leveling it? My wife and I could get into our room to sleep but the girls need to open the slide even if to sleep on the dinette.

So what do you guys think?

As long as the trailer frame is not twisted and sitting on the suspension without the jacks down, the slides will go in and out without any problems.

X2

As long as you are as close as possible to level you should be o.k. Our trailer tows pretty level front to back, so we make sure we are pretty level side to side when we boondock. We unplug the trailer from the truck and put the landing gear down to take the pressure off the truck, but she is still hitched up.

I would think it would be just fine. They leave them out at the dealerships all the time without the stabilizers down.

When we travel long distances we very rarely stay at a campgrounds over night. Most of our stays are either pull offs, rest areas, truck stops, etc. and we have never had a problem with putting out the slides. We might not put out all the slides depending on the available space like in some rest areas or truck parking areas.

X3... Park as level as possible left to right and slightly uphill if given the option, I don't like my head lower than my feet

I agree with everyone else that its ok. There is a dealer close to me that pulls a big 5er in every local parade with all the slides open. If they can get away with that then you should be just fine.

If I parked overnight hitched up:
Level the unit
Put the front legs down and pick up a little load on them
Put the rear stab. jacks down.
