Would love some input on this....never towed a TT before, and do I need to lube the hitch ball? I had a FW prior and always used a teflon lube plate, and would think something would be needed on the hitch ball....your thoughts?

You will probably get answers for and against lubing the ball hitch, but I always put a light film on the ball when towingtrailers. Just something about metal to metal without any lubrication......

Lube the ball. Better operation, longer life. Keep paper towels handy.

And don't walk into it with long pants as I've done...just once.

You can get a ball cover from CW, PPL or just cut a tennis ball to keep the grease off anyone who passes too close...
