I found my water heater and the bypass valves. The water pump is located in the same area. The bypass has two valves. One of them apparently diverts the antifreeze from the input side of the heater into the bypass. The other one actually opens the bypass, at least that's how I see it, please tell me if I'm wrong on this point. Assuming the above is true, what keeps antifreeze from backing up through the output side of the heater as opposed to going out to the faucets and shower heads? Also, can someone tell me what I'm looking for to find out if my 5er has the "ez winterizing system" installed on the water pump?

There is a checkvalve on the W/H to preventA/F from entering the tank when the bypass valves are used. There should be a hose and valve attached to the Water Pump for sucking up the A/F.
