Our 2011 30SKP has an external propane supply line located just left of the entry steps. At the end of the line is a female quick disconnect coupler. In order to connect a stove. BBQ etc to this supply line, what do I need for fittings, hoses etc?

Thanks.

Well, I would guess you probably need the male end for that quick connect to plug into. Length of hose depends on how far away you want to be. Mine is 6 or 8 ft. Then a fitting to hook to your stove, etc. Better check and see if you will need a regulator also.

Do I need a regulator is really what I was hoping to find out here. I've heard that if the supply from the trailer is regulated and the stove, BBQ or whatever has a regulator, it won't work. I'll give the local propane outfit a call.

Thanks for the reply.

I hooked up my Campfire In A Can propane camp fire and removed the regulator from it because I thought it would be redundant. I fired it up and it works perfectly!

I'd say that the same would go for your camp stove.

I should have added--------I use my Coleman camp stove hooked up to a 10# tank. My hose screws right into the fitting that you would normally have a 1# bottle on. I don't use a regulator. I think the part that hooks into the stove and holds the 1#er on the other end is all the regulator you need.

It depends whether the T is before or after the regulator on the RV's tanks. I would assume after.
