Just curious here. The front jacks on our 5th wheel are extremely slow. They take several minutes to lower several inches. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just the gear ratio used?

Any recomendations to make it faster?

Thanks,

Rick

It is the nature of the beast. There is not really much you can do about it. At least I don't have to stand there holding the switch now that I added the remote control unit to mine.

No doubt. I die a painful slow death 5x over when the site is sloped and it take 20 minutes to lower the damn things! I have gotten into the habbit of carying railroad tie section cut up to stack and reduce the distance needed and cut down on movement.

This is why I gave the DW this job.. I hate working "the button". However, it does give you time to run the check list in your mind to ensure you have done everything before leaving or setting up. Again the this is the DW job.
