We have a 16 gal water heater tank, in looking at the back of the tank I see two shut off valves, do I need to shut off both valves when I get ready to winterize?

You turn both valves. One turns off the supply to the hot water heater and the other finishes the bypass.

Hi. You replied to a post some time ago about winterizing, and it seems you know what you're doing. I am a new Kingston owner, and very confused about winterizing. I'm hoping you can help.

I have an outside control panel that's part of my outside shower. It has a valve that's labelled, but it's impossible to read. I think it has to do with winterizing. But, the water heater has two valves plus some type of mixer valve. It also talks about winterizing, but doesn't tell me which valve to turn. I've called Crossroads, but they have no clue either.

Can you please tell me how to winterize this unit with the valves I have. I can sent pics via email, but I haven't been able to figure out how to attach my own pics to these posts.

Thanks!!!
