My wife and I are narrowing down our choice of 5vers, and are fairly sold on a Cruiser for our first fifth wheel. I had a question about the door to the master bedroom. We can't stand the accordion style doors (I think it cheapens the look of the RV and offers no sound buffer at all. Is it possible to have it replaced with a real door. Even if it has to be ordered from the factory this way. This would open up more Cruiser models to our list (right now we are leaning towards the CF30KRX). I know a lot of times it is because of space, or placement of a hall/corner storage area, but we would both rather have the door over the extra storage area. Any help would be great.

I would not expect Crossroads to add a BR door to a floor plan that does not have one. Most plans that do not have solid doors have space restrictions that necessitate the folding door. However, you could order a solid door from the parts dept. and arrange to have it installed if you pick a floor plan that could be modified to handle the solid door.

Give the factory a call and see what they can do for you on a special order, or have it modified at the repair center afterwords. Never hurts to ask....

Probably depends on the model. I have been thinking about installing a sliding "pocket" door on our 2010 CF30KSP. It wouldn't really be in a pocket but would slide along side the wall between the BR and the bathroom.

The video and floorplan I looked at on the Crossroads website for a CF30KRX both show a solid door to the bedroom. I don't see a folding door anywhere????

We ordered our Rig back in 2005 and asked for a mod in the bunk room. They did not hesitate.

I would certainly ask.
