Post Frig won't work when cold outside

I just wanted to share an observation. This past weekend we were boondocking in below freezing weather and noticed that our Norcold refrigerator model N811FRT was not cooling. I checked that the propane flame was burning properly and it was. My DW suggested that I refer to the owners manual(which is the last place I would have thought to look). Sure enough, it clearly states that the unit will not work in sub freezing temperatures!

Yes, that is what a lot of us have found.
Even a residential fridge is prone to the same problem.
I have a fridge in the garage. It works fine in the summer, but not in the winter. If I have the heat on out there it works great.

Same My frig in the garage will not work when very cold. I just place a heater in there and it is back on. I have to watch the stuff in the freezer will thaw if not. So heating the camper then will not work???

Damn if its that cold turn it off and keep the beer outside
Cold temperature will not let the gas in the refrigerator tubes circulate

Tony,
I just consumed all of the beer before it warmed up. It seemed like the right thing to do.
