Wheel bearings locked

and left me stranded on the side of the road in Chattanooga TN on Sunday a few minutes after 2:00 I live in Va. I called the road side number. I have a Sunset trail 2014 and is still under warranty. The tow folks arrived after 6:30. I was not told the truth about when they would be arriving (road side, they did not even call the tow guy until 3:41) but that is to long to get into. They got the wheel off and axel chained up. Made it to camping world less than 10 miles away for the night. I was there when the doors opened at 8:30 they were very prompt about looking at it and seeing what needed to be done. They sent in emails to Cross Roads to get approval for the work. The wait continues, this is Monday and I was suppose to be back Sunday night. By noon and several calls still nothing, I gave camping world my credit card and said I had to get on the road. I could not miss another day of work. I was on the road about an hour and a half later. I emailed today to find out what was going on and this was the response
Hello,

Kind of.

Keystone approved 1 hour, Lippert approved 1 hour, which leaves 1 hour unpaid for.

They only approved a partial amount of the parts. I'm trying to get numbers together to see what remainder would fall to ya’ll.

I haven’t charged the card any amount yet.

I’ll let you know what amount to expect on the card.

Why would they not cover it all?

Who do I need to talk to?

Thanks

Susan
I don’t know why they wouldn’t cover it all. And they wont pay us anything until we send the old parts back and they determine that it wasn’t caused by lack of maintenance.

That same phone number you called yesterday should be able to get you to who you need. We submit everything online.

csullivan@campingworld.com

The camper is not a year old and has not been anywhere to 10 thousand miles.
The guy I talked to from Sunset trail was just a p.r. guy and when I asked him about time frame for approval he said he was working on it and did not know who to contact about the $232 out of pocket to the tow guys.
Help please who do I need to call?
The camping world bill is $551.37 and the tow is $232 plus a day of work.

It burnt the bearings out on one wheel, I was lucky someone pulled up beside me and let me know. I had just stopped for gas 2 exits up

This is the kind of thing that the folks at Trailer Life like to look into. Usually it gets resolved pretty fast as the manufacturers do not like negative NATIONAL publicity. When a BS thing like this hits the news stands, it can really affect sales.

Susan, Mr. Sullivan's e-mail mentioned that Keystone approved one hour. Keystone and Crossroads are two different manufacturers. Are you sure Camping World didn't contact the wrong company about your repair?

Susan, I don't know how you have your trailer insured but I chose to have mine covered as part of my auto policy and this policy has roadside breakdown coverage. When I had a similar situation the entire towing bill was paid by that coverage. They paid it 100% which was almost $500.00. Maybe I just got the right adjuster on a good day. I hope it all works out for you because I feel your pain.

This number is not working. Do you or anybody else have a number that is to a direct person in charge?

Thanks everyone!!! Talked to Terry today and think everything is settled. The girl at camping world said they were only going to get paid for 2 hours not 3 and had to turn the parts in to make sure it was not a maintenance issue. There should not be a maintenance issue, the trailer is not a year old and has been no where close to 10,000 miles (I wish) Not to good for camping world
