The shower door on the Kingstonis getting very difficult to close or open, we have to lift the door in order to close or open it. Can someone tell us how to fix the door?

John, how are things?

I just went and looked at the corner shower in the Cruiser and I don't see any type of adjustments.

Sounds like you need to do a little investigation. Is the camper level and not twisted? We had a door in our last trailer that would bind if we were off a little.

Take a look at the floor around the shower. Does it show any signs of warp or swelling from water? Is it trying to lift part of the shower base?

Hope you find the problem.

BipeFlier, I placed a level on the floor and on top of the shower and it showed level. Ialso have not been able to see a way to raise the lower front end of the shower door so it would clear the bottom when closing-opening the s. door.

Couple of days ago hail must have broke a piece out of the cover over the fanin the bath room so I will take it in to havethe vent lid replaced and ask aboutthe door closing problem.

Ifound my door starting to hang up as well. After looking it over, I found the magnetic strip on the edge of the door was slipping down. Once I slid it back up and slightly pinched the runner the door worked fine.

Jim and Glori,

after investigating I found that the door needs to be raised.

because of the effort to lift the door and open it the dragging on the bottom has torntherubber seal on the bottom of the door. It appears that if I couldincrease the length of thespacer on the bottom shaft of the shower door, there by rising the door by 1/16"to 1/8", that would solve the problem.Has anyone removed the shower door?
