Remote

Just picked up a 355bl. Found a remote in the unit and not sure what it is for. I assume it is for landing gear and slides? I did manage to use it to turn on the scare light but that is all. Can anyone point me to directions for use? I don't see anything in the documentation about a remote.

Maiden voyage tomorrow!

Did the dealer not do a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) with you, showing you all the features, etc.? This PDI also gives you a chance to make sure everything works properly and things are in good shape.

If it's like the one I had when turned on you can cycle thru the different items it controls. Mine did the landing gear, slides(2), and IIRC the rear stabilizer. As well as the scare light.

Our particular trailer has a video online which is 45 minutes long and does a complete run-through. I don't see one online on your unit right now, although I didn't spend a lot of time looking. Have you tried the different buttons and see what they do? I have seen people with these remotes, putting their landing gear down, the slides, out, etc., but we don't have one. The closest we come is a key-less entry system with a combination lock on the door.

I have tried pushing all of the buttons. The only ones that seem to work are the power, Flashlight and scare buttons. Maybe it is broken?? It seems to turn one and go through its cycle just fine though.
