Inverter for residential fridge

I have finally had to replace my norcold fridge it has finally died. I have found.a Maytag fridge that fits right in the old slot. Question is though setting up a power investor to run the fridge while traveling and parking where shore power is not available. Any one with experience doing this?

I installed an invertor in my rv to run the kitchen slide while dry camping. I also in stalled a transfer switch then I just leave the invertor turned on all the time except when in storage. Most new rv with a res frig use a 1000.watt invertor. You may want to use a pure saine wave invertor, some of the newer electronics are sensitive to the saine wave of the invertor.
