On our Seville you just flip a switch on the fireplace. I have heard on some you have a switch for electric water heater / fireplace but mine does not have it. Does the fireplace do anything and have you checked your breakers?

If its like our 2012 335SS you have a front panel that folds down to access the controls. You should also have a remote?

First light stovetop to bleed air, then expect 5-6-attemps to bleed rest of the air? I recently replaced home WH, and had to bleed only 2+ft pipe from valve, seemed to take forever.

We have a 2012 Sunset Trail. Your question brought a smile to my eye,"Lit the electric fireplace".
Our unit has a switch to select either Electric Hot Water heater or Fireplace, can not run both at the same time, even if on a 30 Amp or 50 Amp service.
Once the Fireplace is selected, it is then a matter of firing up the fireplace. There are several, almost hidden buttons on the front of the fireplace. One will turn on the faux pas fire (a flickering light, no heat), one will turn on the heater (temperature may be selected), and one will select the length of time the unit is to run for (30 minutes, 60 minutes).
Viola heat, well more takes the chill off rather than listening to the ROAR of the furnace.
Now crack open the wine, get a book and enjoy the ambiance of a crackling fire, glass of wine, oh and what a great romantic setting for a little fun a willing partner.
