2008 29CK vinyl flooring

I'm going to replace my crappy carpet in a unit that now is permanently parked in a snowbird area. ANY feedback from owners of the above model who have replaced their carpet with vinyl will be appreciated. I'm mainly concerned about slide involvement when there is no carpet to protect the new flooring. Thanks! Monte

mmorris,

I recently removed carpet from our dining and sitting rooms at home, replacing it with a vinyl plank flooring.

It came with the underlay already attached on each 48" x 7" plank. It cut with a couple of strokes of a sharp box cutter and a steel square.

Each plank clips into the next for a watertight connection on all four sides.

The thickness is 5.5 mm, about 1/4" in real dimensions.

While I have not installed any in an RV as of yet, when mine does get to the point that it needs doing, this WILL be the direction I head.

You might like to investigate this as an option if you feel like a couple or three hours on your hands and knees.
