I'm starting the planning (maybe trying to talk myself out of something) for mods to our 2011 Seville & was looking for comment, guidance, or commiseration.
The projects in mind are:
Pull the basement bulkhead to allow easier access to install a Progressive Dynamics surge suppressor and to clean the furnace ducts after a set of rodents left presents.
Change out the tailights for 7" led lights similar to those used here,
http://www.crossroadsowners.com/foru...ight=tailights.
Mod the utility access to prevent rodent incursions in the future.
Replace the flexible ductwork used with the heating system with semi-rigid or rigid ductwork (again to keep creatures out of the living area.
Replace the wiring on the central vacuum with longer wires so that it works all the time instead of just when the switch is held in place.
Put the readout for the surge suppressor above/below the thermostat.
Replace the dump valves with electric valves (this may not happen).
Replace the current tank level sensors with a SeeLevel II system.
I'd appreciate any comments on how best to do some of these. Most of the stuff I had to do on a Sunnybrook (furnace ductwork and cleaning). The central vacuum problem is just the wires are too short so that shouldn't be hard. The things that have me a bit concerned are pulling the bulkhead and installing the suppressor and necessary wiring.
I've had other drivers apparently ignore the turn signals on the Seville and have come to realize that the lights are recessed and my not be visible. I intend to fix that.
Comments, suggestion, and commiseration are welcome.
