2015 Sunset Trail Front Cap

I have a 2015 Sunset Trail 270BH with the basic fiberglass front on it. I have noticed that the 2016's have the molded fiberglass one piece cap which I am really envying. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can replace the old style with the new molded cap? I understand that the color scheme will be different but also thought I might could get the old decals and replace them. Other than the front cap I love everything about my 2015 over the 2016's but really wish I had the other molded cap.

Not sure it's doable. Looks like the running light would have to be moved, and also it looks like the cap extends further onto the roof. It it is possible, it could be expensive.

interesting...we bought our stb270 a couple of months ago and it came with the cap on it. I didn't know it actually came without it. We bought it in canada so maybe its different up here?

Actually, seeing these at the factory, you could probably put the 1-piece cap on your unit. However, some rework would be needed and I doubt the look is worth the cost to change it.

Also - the difference on the front is whether you get a Super Lite or a Reserve (last I knew - unless they changed it).

Looking on the web site, the lite and the reserve look the same to me.
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong?

Lloyd,

There are key differences between Super Lites and Reserves, primarily in the weight category. Reserves have some nicer upgrades and amenities like solid counters and fireplace as well as the fiberglass solid front cap. There;s other items too I just can't recall since it's been a couple years since we shopped. Anyways, All which add to the weight.

Oh yeah, the Reserves cost more too..

Anyway that is what I seen.

Yeah, the site doesn't show all the Super Lites in the photo gallery, I did searches on our 300BH and they've switched over on all the 2016s. So the new ones DO have the beige molded cap, and YES, even though they're keeping the higher end options separate on the reserves they've switched over on the 2016s. Wow, very sharp looking!

Thanks for all of the responses. The main reason I was wanting the new style cap was due to water intrusion but they do look better to me also. I have asked the service manger at the dealership and he was not aware that this could be put on my unit. Also I started seeing these on the 2015 units right after the August updates.
