Does anyone have any experience add a 2nd AC roof unit to a CF30SK Cruiser 5th Wheel? We are campling/living in AL and the heat/humidity is pretty bad in the summer. The single AC unit seems to pretty much stay on constantly from about 11am til 8-9pm. We only have thermostat set to 80 (at least that's what it shows on the dial). Saw a SunnyBrook 5th wheel about our size that had 2 AC roof units and that gave me the idea. Was thinking you could replace bedroom vent. Thoughts?

Yes it can be done. You are going to have to have a seperate power source for it so unless you feel comfortable doing allthe wiringyou might want to see about having a RV dealer or Camping World do the install. You will need a 20 amp service for it and a cord to plug into the spare 20 amp plug at most power poles at RV parks. I know Ed Luskey(Luskey5) had one install in the bedroom of his Cruiser. Maybe he will chime in with more details.

I would like to know how to convert my 30SK to 50 amps in order to accommodate another a/c.
