Backup Camera for Hitch

I have a 2003 Duramax that I would like to install a wireless backup camera so I can see the hitch on my camper when trying to connect up. Someone said something about a camera that might sync with my iphone but this might be a problem if I am at a campground with limited to no cell reception. Any ideas for me?

Those cameras typically connect with WiFi or Bluetooth direct to your phone. Mobile network is not needed.

I would recommend WiFi over Bluetooth.

Just to give an inexpensive option, which I put on my late father's 2003 Ram I inherited for the exact reason of ease of hitch pairing:

EDIT: I should add, this one came with a cig lighter power hookup so you can have it on full time (instead of tapping a reverse wire) with a power button control on the cig lighter plug.

I bit the bullet and put a screen in my dash which gives android auto and in dash navigation, and wired in a full time backup camera that hooks behind the license plate. Quality is excellent. Not quick & easy install, but permanent, and works perfectly.

The new screen has multiple camera inputs so when I get around to it I can also hook up a camera on back of the trailer full time...

Camera is this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
