Dealer installed one when we added the second A/C unit to extend the vent stack above the intake, but I really can't tell any difference in before/after.

I have 3 on my unit, really easy to install just take the screw that holds the top of the cap on and then dig into the dicor to find the screws that hold it on the roof, gently pry off the old cover and then I cleaned all the dicor off, the new cyclone cap just sits on the pipe that comes thru the roof, I didn't use the dicor up etrnabond tape, I don't really know if they work any better but when the wind blows theyspin whatever way the wind blows, I changed them all to the cyclone vent when I covered all the roof seams with the etrnabond tape...

Have replaced the factory installed cap with the Cyclone (easy) and yes, it works.

cyclone sewer vent

Have used for over 10 years. Yes, it works if there is a breeze. So much so, that I usually don't use toilet chemicals. Were in a mountain valley one summer with no breeze and could really tell the (negative) difference! Am ordering one for our new to us, Cruiser today.
