Dometic furnace failure
Ok so I have a 2019 Crossroads Sunset Trail 253RB With a Dometic furnace. So far the furnace has failed 5 times due to a clogged sail switch. ( I have a big dog) The dog hair and dust and debris prevents the sail switch from moving and no fire on the furnace. Wouldnt be so bad but you have to completely remove the furnace to get to the sail switch! No easy chore! The furnace fails usually in the morning when it is 40 degrees out! So I decided enough is enough.... I screened off the front air intake and fashioned a screen around the sail switch. ( see pics ) SUCCESS! I have not had one failure in 6 months! They say not to put anything over the front air intake but really enough is enough!
