Drinking Water Filter ?

Anyone install inside under cabinet water filter or purification system?
What have you done and suggestion's?
We alway's carry about 12 or more gallon's of water in gallon jug's along for drinking, what a nuisance.
I saw camping world has one for under sink cabinet model #47903, was wondering if anyone has done something like this, I like how it has a separate faucet.

I keep a 4-5 gal blue water jug for getting drinking water from reliable taps. Brita filter to a 2 litre jug for drinking or coffee. Tank is for dishes ,showers and toilet.

Thank's Robb, I clicked on their link, look's interesting.
How long have you had it, 2 or 4 filter's, how long does it take to filter the first water, and if I add water say when it is 1/2 empty is that okay to do?
Looking for more option's cause I know my wife want's me to hide filtering under cabinet so she has that precious counter space.

We have the 2 filter model which holds approx 2 1/4 gallons I believe. We've had it for close to a year, and based on our consumption, the filters should last 3 years. The water filtration is relatively quick, 3.5GPH, quicker than our PUR pitcher that it replaced. I typically fill it back up before I go to bed. You can fill it up at any time, BUT, you can also cause it to overflow... The water is absolutely tasteless which is a positive for me. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

drinking water filter

We've used the Aquasana under cabinet unit both at home and in the RV for 11 years. Change the filter once every 6 months. Unit is around $100; Filter is about $50. Top rated.

I have a canister type filter (Culligan brand from Walmart) with a sediment filter going into a rv water softener (Pur 10000 from Camping World) & then into another canister type with the charcoal filter, makes good clear ice cubes & taste great at every stop. Recharge the softener monthly with a container of table salt. It was an investment of $300+/- but well worth it.

I have a whole house filter from Lowes. I put adapters on the inlet and outlet so I can hook up the water hose. All water coming into the camper is filtered. Filters are available at most hardware stores in various micron abilities and can be changed without standing on your head under a cabinet.

Same here. I made a stand for the filter to sit in. Usually try and get it under the camper out of the sun.
