I learnednot to lose my temper day before yesterday and it cost me $200.00.
The kitchen faucet got stuck (it swivels from one bowl to the next) I gave it a whack and broke the sprayer off, after 2 hours trying to dry the other wall and referig off and hearing DW tell me to stay calm, I found I could not repair the thing and would have to replace it (I figured$40,)
Off to Home Depot, you ever looked at how many variations there are, did I bring thew old one to compare ? NO!!
Finally on the third trip I hit the jack pot, but forgot to remember the old unit was hooked up to a filter and had non-standard fittings-Forth trip.
You would have thought I would have taken the old unit with me on the second trip.
I forgot to mention I had to spend $150.to get the correct faucet.( No it was not made out of gold).Plus numerous brass fittings.
6 1/2 hours (Oh I forgot to mention the access hole was 3' x 3' and only 18" off the floor).
My neighbor told me later over a cold one, he would have done all the labor for $20.
Anyway good lessons and it looks better than befor.
