My galley tank shows 1/3 full, although it is empty. I have tried everything I can think of to clean it. I thought it would have to be soap scum. Any Ideas appreciated. Jim

CW does sell a grey water tank cleaner / deodorizer. If it was me I would probably fill the tank with about 5 gallons of H2O mixed with Palmolive soap and take it for a ride, or the next outing.

You could try the Goe Method on that tank and see if the Calgon makes it slippery inside and cleans the gunk off of it. You can google geo method and it will come up.

What it is you use 2 gallons of warm water and add 2 cups of Calgon to itand then 1 cup of powedered laundry soap. Dump it in the tank, Id then add 5 or more gallons of water to it, take it for a drive and drain and see if that cleans the sensor.

I back flush our grey tanks every third trip with my Flush King just to keep them clean. Never had an issue with the readings on any of the tanks.
