Good deal on color change LEDs

Found these on Amazon, just passing them on. Seems like a good deal for a full LED kit.

Those will work great indoors but I would be hesitant to use them outside since they are not waterproof. I got some for a similar price that were encased in silicon and actually submersible. Also, with an IR controller, you have to point it at the control box like with your TV. An RF (radio frequency) controller, you just have to be nearby. Depends on what you are setting up.

They are an awesome addition to your rig since they are infinitely customizable.

I did a ridiculous amount of research before I bought mine. I found buying each component from China via Ebay to be the best deal. Be sure to shop around. IP67 or IP68 is the waterproof spec to look for. 5050 leds are very bright. With white leds you need to consider the color temperature and brightness as well. There are a lot of threads on various sites, including this one. If you get the correct product to give the result you want, you will love them.

I like them so much I bought some non waterproof strings and an ac/12v adapter on ebay for my house basement.
