the shelves in our pantry are 21 inches long and abt 9 inches wide. I would like to find wire baskets or light weight containers to put the supplies in and then slide into the pantry shelves. Nothing seems the right size or lightweight. I would like to be economical, too. any suggestions.

We had slide out baskets and I removed them and installed shelves in our pantry. The reason I did that was because with the baskets, you losespace.Probably about 2"- 3" in width on each shelf. The baskets cannot be as wide as your shelves. If they were, you could not slide them out.

Wal-Mart has slide out coated wire baskets in several sizes. Perhaps $20-23 dollars each. I put some under the sink and didn't have room to put more there. We got some coated wire spice rack type and fastened them in the pantry to hold soap bottles etc. from sliding around or tipping over.

Happy Camping

Our local Lowe's has a closet management aisle that I am looking to shop for our Cruiser. They sell the baskets, slide rails, wire racks, etc.

I was just at the Container Store and they have some things there you might be able to use. If not, just MacGuyver it!

Thanks for the ideas. Always ready to MacGyver, as invention is a good thing.
