Home made carpet steps

I found that the carpets for steps sold by different shops are quite expensive.
I got some left over carpet with matching colors ,cut it to match the step,inserted metal rings at the corners (there is a special tool to do just this,can get it for 2-3$) and tied it with a plastic band at the bottom of the step and wallllla it was fun and I saved some $$.

Pretty nice....might have to consider that myself.....

I did the same thing but used an outdoor mat I got for about $8, more than enough to do the three steps.
