Inverter Wiring Assumption

I'm looking for either affirmation or rejection of my assumption.

Here are the givens:
1. My SF270BH came with 30A service
2. My SF270BH came with a WFCO 8965 power distribution panel
3. My SF270BH did not come with an inverter
4. About 5 years ago I bought a 2500W inverter for my boat
5. I never installed the inverter on my boat
6. I want to install the inverter in my SF270BH
7. The WFCO T-30 add-on transfer switch I bought was delivered today
8. There are 3 pairs of wires coming from the T-30 marked as:
a. "To panel"
b. "From shore power" (going to the N.C. input contacts of the transfer relay)
c. "From generator" (going to the N.O. input contacts of the transfer relay)

Now here is my assumption:
1. Connect the inverter to the "From shore power" contacts
2. Connect the shore power to the "From generator" contacts
3. Add N.O. relay between converter and battery and connect its coil to the "From generator" contacts

Wired like this, when the trailer is not connected to 120v (power grid or generator) the inverter can supply power to the distribution panel when it is on. This will allow me to power the small refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen when I'm travelling or at campgrounds without hookups (and the TVs). When the trailer is plugged into a 120v supply, the transfer switch will automatically change over to supply the distribution panel from the 120v supply and the N.O. relay will close allowing the converter to charge the battery.

Can you shoot a picture of schematic that came with the switch? Post it up and that will help. How do you plan on turning off the transfer switch? The inverter is going to drain the battery even when not using any lites. Because the power converter also charges the battery.

The documentation didn't have a schematic, but there is one on the side. I took a picture of it and noticed that it is not the way I think it is designed. The schematic does not show any N.C. inputs to the relay, so I got out my multi-meter and confirmed that the "From shore" inputs go to N.C. contacts on the relay, not N.O. as the schematic shows. The inverter has an On/Off switch, so I can turn it off when it isn't needed to prevent it from draining the battery. The reason I want to wire it this way is so I don't have to power the transfer switch when on battery. The transfer switch will only be energized when hooked up to an external power source.

Can you tell me if the delay control module is a delay energize or delay denergize ?

(Com) goes to the distribution panel, (n.o.) to shore power cord, (n.c.) to dc to ac power inverter.
Just a thought, put a male plug on the wires that are going to the dc to ac inverter. Then you can unplug when not being used.
