Jack Anntenna

Dale this is for you. Saturday I replaced the stock antenna with the Jack system. The install went smooth. It took longer to climb the ladder than to change out to the Jack. The difference is great. I would do this mode again. Yes I had the wingman on before

Learning something new....have a 08 Cruiser 32bl with what I assume is a stock antenna. What is a "Jack" system, and is the poor quality of the antennas a usual thing for Cruisers or for all trailers? We have a portable external antenna, small but works well around the DC area. Would this be good enough for local reception? We're not looking to spend a lot of time watching but would like to get local stations for weather.

The Jack is designed for HD and the Digital channels, when I plug this one in I Added 6 more channels than I had before. Picture is clearer, and did not seem to have the picture freeze I had before.
