The rubber grommet/spacers that secure the rack to the stove are disintegrating. We have been replacing them every year. Since we are now full timing in a no out door fire zone, we are using the stove top for breakfast and cool days.
I'll take any suggestions.
Thanks,
Carole

I wonder what is causing that. Our rig is going on 5 years and we haven't had to replace them yet. Other then buying them by the truck load at a time, no suggestions here.

"..we are using the stove top for breakfast and cool days."

Are you using the stove top for heating the room?

Not using the stove top to heat the room.
Not using any thing to clean but dishsoap and a sponge.
Use the stove alot when we are hunting in the fall, so often have all three burners on. I think the grate just gets too hot.
