moride box install

Well after i installed my myride stairs many recommended that i install a storage box in place of the factory installed stairs. i agree that was a good idea and i set out to find such box and it just so happens that moride makes one. well teh wife was kind enough to get it for me for christmas and we finally had some decent weather so here is the install.

first removing the old stairs was a breeze, 4 bolts and a couple of scrws (one was already missing) and the stairs were out. The moride kit comes with the box a set of brackets and all the necessary hardware to mount it. As with the stairs, measure first then mount once the bracket are in place simply slide the box in and adjust as necessary. there are two set screws that keep it from shaking front to back. seems to work well. took about 30 minutes with just a couple of wrenches.

thanks, i like it. It is a great spot to store wheel chocks and leveling pads, things you don't need after you put the stairs down. it would be nice if it was a little bigger but i am sure they made the size based on the most common dimensions of the area they were dealing with.
