My weeks project
Here's is a few pics I took along the way.
I've wanted to move the tv shelf down for a long time. We never use the pivoting arm for holding it.
Some years back I made a shelf that extends out for it to sit on once we're setup. If we move or break camp I just unhook it and lay it on the bed.
This week I finally got up enough ambition to tackle it. Tearing every thing out and then putting supports back in was a pain in the butt.
Today I finally finished. The storage shelf that was on the bottom under the tv is now on top of tv, and tv is down a space.
Now when we sit across the room and stare at the idiot tube it will be more level and inline. No more sore neck from looking up.

Nice mod, looks like it took quite a bit of work. Makes a guy feel good after completion doesn't it.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Oliver, yes, it ended up being more work then I had anticipated on the start.
By the way did you all notice the pile of sawdust and cut out pieces in that one pic? Also the famous CrossRoads hole in the wall that looks like they cut it in with a chainsaw?

Chainsaw Lloyd ? You were lucky, I think some of mine were done with a 'ball pein' hammer...!
Excellent workmanship, it's so satisfying to make something right.
Well done.

Nice job! It's a good feeling when you can personalize it and make it more convenient to use.
Yeah, I've found those piles of sawdust and piles of metal shavings that would make their way through the stove vent to the stove top.
