New Control Panel

I'm debating on building a new control panel for our Seville but haven't quite figured out exactly what I want to do.

I'm considering this as my tank sensors have quit and I'm replacing them next year with the SeeLevelII system. I'm putting in a Progressive inline power filter so would like to have the readout in the same panel.

As I see it, I'd need to replace all the big switches with smaller ones (like used on the bedroom slide) or controlling relays to actuate the motors.

What I don't know how to do is get a panel engraved. Putting the labels on with Dymo labels just doesn't seem really all that professional.

This may be one of those projects that I just decide against but suggestions are welcome (even those that say "don't do it").

Wouldn't a router and templates do that job?
Some sign shops will also have the capacity to do engraving.

If you want it to look professional, here's an online site for signs. http://www.signomatic.com/signomatic

That looks like what I need to do. I like the awning light timer and hadn't thought of that. I'd certainly like to use the smaller switches like you did since 3 of mine look more like residential sized.

Did you cut yours using a CNC system? I was looking at the pictures you posted & that looks like a 3-axis router with a really small bit.

Our Seville is stored for the winter so I can't get in and take pictures or measurements until we pull it out in May but I suspect that the Rushmore and Seville are very common in that area.

Was done on a Haas c&c mill with a engraving bit. About a .015 point

Very nice job. Just one question. Why didn't you identify the slides? Mine has 3 and I put labelling tape under to identify the Kit, Din, Bed slides.

That's the same way I Identify the light switches. The switch closest to the exterior wall is for the outside lights and the inner one beside it is the master switch for the interior lights. Just makes sense. Btw nice job on the control panel.
