Below is a pic of our recently completed junk drawer. The location is on top of the entertainment center. The new drawer & counter top raised the area 9". The drawer is 24" wide, 20" deep and 5" high.

Raising the area did create a problem by covering up the power & cable receptacles. So I made a cut out as shown below.

Our television, which we store under the seat, still has plenty of room and the addition didn't take away any counter space.

Now I'm ready for winter to get out of town.

Very nice! Did you fabricate the drawer from scratch?

Yes Lonnie. The drawer, top & face were all custom. This was a fun project during the winter months. BTW,in the past I have had to laugh when a post would mention your one-legged signature. I too noticed that early on and had to take a close look to find out what was really going on. LOL

From the looks of the pic, you did a nice job. Congrats. It's always fun to do a improvement. Especially when it turns out the way you want it to.

Nice. I am currently working on cabinet doors to replace the panels covering the cabinet with the water pump inside. I hope to have them done Saturday before the Shootout starts. If not I'll be up early Sunday working on it before the Superbowl.
