How-d folks
Fist post here, glad to be a new owner of a 2011 Cruiser 33LF . I was wondering, does anyone know what king pin box is on the unit? I am thinking of getting a MorRyde pin box. We are coming from a Jayco where I had a 5th Airborne with Sidewinder installed.
My second question is, I have a short bed F250, do I need a sidewinder with this new 5er? I don't know how far I can turn, I only hooked up to it to see the height at the lot. We take delivery this weekend.
Thanks for the responses.

JP, our Paradise Pointe came with a Sidewinder installed from Lippert when the frame was built.I have a LWB truck so we really did not need it but I have to say I have really come tolove it over the years. I can back and turn this 35' trailer better than I could our old Cruiser which was 31'.I think even with your SWB truck you would be fine with the MorRyde since the Cruisers have the rounded front cap. And welcome to the forum.

That is a lot more trailer then what I have, but I have the MorRyde on our 5er with a short box tv and I am happy with it. It sure smoothed out the ride in comparison to what came with the unit.

The 33LF will have a standard Lippert #1621 extended pin box and it should have the aero cover, like my unit. The Patriot and Provincial models will have the Roto-flex pin box. On the other issue, you should not need the sidewinder with the notched front cap, but as Keith indicates, it is beneficial.

Perfect Dayle thanks. I didn't know which one came with it. Is it possible to put the morryde on and keep the stock pin box decorative cover?
Too bad my 5th AB with Sidwinder won't fit this camper...could have really lucked out!

It looks like there are two morryde pin boxes
a 1621 Long Style
and a 1621 SHD, Long Style.
Guess I need to figure out which one is which.

Here is the new rig hooked up...I pulled the land gear up to see how she sat. I was pretty surprised
I hope I have enough bed height, I measured 6 inches.
With me be this level, I think I can get away with the morryd vs the 5th Airborne

I would assume the Mor/ryde pin box can be used, but don't know for sure. But the factory would not install the Roto-flex as an option on the standard Cruiser.

Thank you for the welcome....we just finished bomb proofing our 6.0. Pulled the cab off and did ARP's, new head gasket, ERG errr....you know... and rebuilt the Oil Cooler and ran a 4" turbo back no kitty. And as oddly as this sounds, it was all preventative, not a thing wrong with our PSD but now I feel a lot more confident in her for the long haul. I only have 88K on the clock.

I bought my MorRyde from Tweetys. If you get the Lippert # off the pin box on your new rig, all you have to do is call them and they will be able to tell you what you need to replace it.

So funny had to share...I "moved out" of our Jayco today...had to use my garage, my living room, my storage shed, my pattio, my kitchen etc for all our crap. Also just got home from putting the stock pin box back on, and the stock 15" wheels. The funny part...hard to belive how freaking light my Jayco is empty. My truck pulled it like a shadow. Just had to share.
We do our PDI at 11:30 on Sat. Pretty excited.
