I'm missing the quick connector (female) end that attaches to the the main propane piping on the trailer. The previous owner must have taken it off and capped it.
Is this a standard size quick connector, or will I need to reduce from the pipe size or ??
Next step is adapting the Weber-Q to quick connect. Found info on that pretty easily.
Thanks!!
Kevin

Just grab one at a trailer place (take the cap off and bring it with you if you like.), it is different than a natural gas one for your home bbq.

There are several sizes or types that may or may not work together. As suggested, take the male end to a lp supplier, to compare ends.
When I tried to connect a fellow campers fitting to his new BBQ, it didn't fit. We went to Home Depot and bought a quick connect fitting with both ends.
Keep in mind, the black pipe is npt ( national pipe thread) fittings and a reducer from 1/2" to 3/8" is pretty common.
I also added an in-line ball valve prior to the quick connect, to ensure a good seal when not in use.
